Quotations and prices
Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT and are valid for five days from the date of the quotation unless we state otherwise in writing.
Specifications and drawings
Quotations and manufacture are based on the specifications, drawings and files you supply. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you send us, including dimensions, tolerances, material and finish.
Where we identify something that will not manufacture cleanly we will raise it with you before proceeding, but we do not verify the fitness of your design for its purpose.
Tolerances
General tolerances are ± 0.3 mm. Where your drawing calls for a tighter tolerance, agree it with us in writing before manufacture so we can price and plan for it.
Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for losses arising from late delivery.
Carriage and minimum order
Carriage is free of charge on orders over £1,000 delivered within ten miles of our workshop. Carriage on all other orders is quoted with the job.
We operate a minimum goods order value of £120.
Where you need a job ahead of the quoted lead time, expedited delivery is charged at 50% of the quoted price.
Title and risk
Title to goods remains with Clarke Lane Engineering Limited until they are paid for in full.

Payment
Payment is due within 30 days of invoice unless agreed otherwise in writing.
